The artisanal sector in Luxembourg is driven by creativity and innovation, showcasing both great craftsmanship and high quality local products. The clever use of skills transmitted through generations, new technologies and multiple regional resources and raw materials explains the country’s unique and diverse artisanal production, from edible goods to handicrafts.
Artisans sell their products locally where they manufacture them or in small shops nearby. You can of course also find them at the weekly local markets or during special events like the Mudam museum’s biannual “Marché des créateurs”. There is also a growing number of artisanal products available in specialty stores and supermarkets. Finally, you will find a selection of local products and crafts in Luxembourg House.
