Castle of Vianden - Guided Tour

Constructed between the 11th and 14th centuries on the foundations of a Roman fort and a Carolingian refuge, Vianden Castle is one of the most beautiful feudal residences of the romanesque and gothic periods in Europe. Transferred to State ownership in 1977, the castle was restored to its former glory and now ranks as a monument of not only regional, but European importance.
