Besides the viticulture, the art of distillation has also shaped the cultural landscape of the Moselle region for several centuries.
At the end of the wine festival season, the distillers from the Moselle region have come together to offer all lovers of Luxembourgish brandies, the good spirits of the Moselle region and beyond, the opportunity to taste their excellent products. Discover how the fruit of the orchard is transformed in a beautiful Alambic (still), experience the secular relationship of the local distillers with the historical cultural landscape and the application of their regional products in the Moselle gastronomy. In the respective distilleries of the distillers, you will witness live distillations, taste your favourite products on the spot and buy them immediately to delight yourself or your loved ones.
As a culinary highlight, the distillers have been working on a special product with the regional Pâtisserie Hoffmann from Wormeldange. “Trüffen aus dem Miselerland” - five different chocolate truffles, each with a brandy from one of the five distilleries, will flatter many gourmets. Of course, you can convince yourself of the truffles during the distillery day. Let the distillers surprise you!
