Playing cards, printing and film at the Kulturhuef
The Kulturhuef is home to an exhibition about the founder of a dynasty of playing card manufacturers, Jean Dieudonné, who settled in Grevenmacher in 1754. The second permanent exhibition is about book printing. The Kulturhuef is also home to a charming cinema which shows blockbusters, children’s films and arthouse films and regularly hosts special screenings in the presence of directors and experts. On mild summer nights, cinema fans love the open-air “Moonlight Cinema”. The menu at the bistro features regional produce. In summer, the terrace in the courtyard is an inviting place to enjoy a glass of Moselle wine in a Mediterranean ambience.
