Bourscheid castle was probably built in the 10th century, and was enlarged during the 14th and 15th centuries, by the erection of a fortification consisting of a wall with six Gothic turrets. The “Maison de Stolzembourg”, a superb Gothic manor- house built in 1348, houses a museum.
