Exhibitions for Culture and Art Lovers in Luxembourg

After the great results of the past years, Luxembourg has numerous outstanding  new exhibitions coming up.

Luxembourg's must sees are the two very popular photo exhibitions curated by the famous photographer Edward Steichen. The exhibit  “The Family of Man” representing 503 photographs, was conceived as a manifesto for peace and the fundamental equality of mankind and can be visited in the castle of Clervaux. It is part of the Unesco’s world documentary heritage since 2003. The second exhibition can be visited in an old restored water tower located in Dudelange. “The Bitter Years” is a documentation of rural America during the Great Depression by the Farm Security Administration and features over 200 images.

.Besides these 2 important exhibitions, Luxembourg-city’s Museumsmile, compiled by seven cultural institutions, .offers very interesting temporary or permanent collections. The museums cover a total distance of slightly less than a mile and can be easily visited on foot or by public transportation. From archeology, natural history or historical heritage to classic or contemporary art, everyone’s taste can be fulfilled.
