A cycle tour for families, which leads from Beckerich along a cycle path to the villages of Noerdange and Rippweiler and then back to the starting point via the Schweichertal.
The cycle tour starts at the car park at the Beckerich sports hall. It then goes via the national cycle path to Noerdange and the former railway station, where you can visit a small exhibition. The route then continues through meadows and forests to Rippweiler with its characteristic water tower. From here you cycle along the Schweichertal valley and back to Beckerich.
Even if you are travelling on roads with reduced traffic, please follow the traffic regulations and bear in mind that residents and farmers may cross your path.
This tour invites young and old to discover the canton of Redange. A detour to the Beckericher Mill and Useldingen Castle is highly recommended.
Along the “Vëlosummer” routes, cyclists can collect stickers and win great prizes. When you buy something, have a drink, eat or pay admission at one of the participating businesses, you receive a sticker. You can stick these on a collection card in the handy postcard format (available in the participating businesses). Once you’ve collected five stickers, you can enter the competition by sending in the card.
After the bike tour, stop at the restaurant at the Beckericher Mill and discover it’s cultural offer.
