Useldange circular hiking trail
The Useldange circular hiking route offers the perfect mix for a relaxed hike. It is just under 11 km long and also suitable for beginners. The trail starts Am Trëmmel and follows the cycle path and the river Attert for a while. There are many nice places to spread out your picnic blanket. You also pass an old clothes laundry. You walk through fields and forests to the village of Schandel. From there, the trail continues to Everlange and along the river Attert back to the starting point. In Useldange itself, you can visit the imposing castle and ruins. The interactive medieval exhibition in the 130-metre-high tower is worth seeing, and not just for children.
This tour is offered by Visit Luxembourg.
In Everlingen, the Museum of Speleology (caving) offers deep, subterranean insights. An original place to spend the night is in the mushroom-shaped houses of Péitche Lauer.
