This circular walk through time and place shows you 1,000 years of cultural and natural history. It passes through the famous Bock
casemates and the Old Town, links the upper and lower parts of the city, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the fortifications dating back to the time when Luxembourg was the “Gibraltar of the North”. The walk takes you through the lush Alzette valley where you can experience the green oasis within the city and take a break for something to eat and drink in idyllic surroundings. Once you’re ready to keep going, there is a free lift to take you back up to the city centre.
