It will offer the opportunity to discover, in parallel with the current exhibitions, the Norimizu Ameya experimental theatre, the dance performances of Min Tanaka and Jonah Bokaer, the musical show by ICHI and Rachael Dadd and the unclassifiable Cosmo-ball by Emmanuelle Vo-Dinh.

Norimizu Ameya has been a symbol of contemporary Japanese theatre since the early 1980s and has influenced a large number of artists from all disciplines. Performed by his own family - his partner Korosuke and his daughter Kurumi - his play Classroom (2013) addresses basic life themes, such as parent/child, human/animal relations and the issue of transmission in the aftermath of the Fukushima disaster. Here he provides a theatrical moment of captivating intimacy.

DANCE
LOCUS FOCUS
By Min Tanaka
11.11.2017, 2.00pm & 4.00pm
40 min, Église des Trinitaires, Metz
Free entry depending on availability, upon presentation of EST EXPRESS Pass or exhibition entry ticket

What Min Tanaka calls ''Body Weather'' is a dance in which the body is in perpetual transformation, like the climate, in an intense exchange with its environment. "When I dance, I leave nothing behind me. Nothing has changed, but everything has changed", he explains. His dance is an art of passage, of the ephemeral. With Locus Focus, he takes up the meteorology of a place to embody all atmospheric variations, like a barometer or a seismograph. This is a rare opportunity to discover this extraordinary artist!
Within the framework of: Exp.édition 2017, biennale de la danse Grand Est
