Start: Camping Walsdorf

Difficult track, cross-border 21,1 km

This route forms the 21,1 km long pièce-de-résistance and with a 481 metre altitude difference is the most challenging route in the Nordic Walking Park (time: about 6 and a half hours). Your route leads from the starting point at the Walsdorf camp site (L) up to Walsdorf, and then via the Knupp and the Schmitberg (great view!) down into the Our Valley to Vianden. Here the route crosses the N10 and runs past the Our camp site, then going up into the Kammerwald. From Körperich-Obersgegen, a shortcut will take you back to the Our Valley. Crossing the German-Luxembourg border, it reaches the Gaybachtal valley with the GaytalPark Adventure Park (German gateway to the route). Through the border towns of Roth a.d. Our and Bettel the route runs up to Fouhren and then back to the starting point near Walsdorf (about 270 metres above sea level). Indicated by signposts, shortcuts make the route more interesting by offering additional combinations.

Tourist Highlights: Historic town of Vianden with old town and castle, the SEO hydroelectric plant, Nature visitors centre GaytalPark, Roth castle and church
